One of the many benefits of your Wildside Cycles experience is the Body Geometry FIT; service we offer. Your fit on the bike is extremely important and it affects your power, comfort and effectiveness - that's why it is important to focus on a proper Fit from one of our approved Specialized Body Geometry FIT Technicians, Gary Moore and Claire Maynard.
Gary Moore is an advanced BG Fitter (Level 2).
Claire Maynard is one of only five female Body Geometry FIT Technicians in the UK.
Whether you're just a new rider or a seasoned professional, having a badly Fitted bike can greatly affect the quality and enjoyment of your ride. While there are many different Fitting services to choose from, Body Geometry FITis the most comprehensive fit system available to all riders, regardless of your riding level or even the brand of bike you choose to ride.
At Wildside Cycles we can help you find the right shoes, saddles and gloves during your Specialized BG FIT. Like an ergonomic office chair, extended comfort relies on a tailored approach.
BODY GEOMETRY SHOES
Body Geometry shoes and High Performance Footbeds use built-in ergonomic features like the varus wedge, longitudinal arch, and metatarsal button to make the connection between body and bike more productive and more comfortable.
BODY GEOMETRY SADDLES
Body Geometry saddles and shorts use customised shapes, cut-aways and multi-density padding to reduce pressure on arteries and soft tissue for improved blood flow and comfort.
BODY GEOMETRY GLOVES
Body Geometry gloves help reduce hand numbness (aka, cycling palsy) by relieving pressure on the ulnar nerve. Multi-density grips and bar coverings work together with Body Geometry gloves to improve comfort and endurance.
Every Fit - whether you're a novice or experienced cyclist - starts with a short interview between you and your Wildside Cycles technician. Then the 2-3 hour Body Geometry FIT process that follows will help your Fit Technician fully understand you, your riding and your body's needs through:

- 6/8 week follow up
- Your cycle clothing with you, this way we can see exactly how you are on the bike;
- Your cycling shoes and socks along on the day;
- You will need to bring your bike along and;
- A towel may be a good idea!
Every Body Geometry FIT is performed by one of our approved Specialized Body Geometry Technicians.
